खंड -ए
1. हिंदुस्तानी संगीत के आधुनिक काल का संक्षिप्त इतिहास।
2. तबला एवं हारमोनियम का विस्तृत ज्ञान।
3. रागों का काल सिद्धांत.
4. निम्नलिखित शब्दों को परिभाषित करें और समझाएं:
वर्ण, कण, खटका, मुरकी,गमक, गायक, गायकी, शुद्ध राग, छायालग राग, संकिरण राग, लक्षण गीत।
5. गायक के गुण और दोष.
6. थाट की परिभाषा. इसके लक्षण, भाट खंडे के दस थाट। राग और थाट नियमों की तुलना.
7. निबन्ध:-(1) संगीत में ताल का महत्व
(2) संगीत में ललित कला का स्थान।

खंड -बी
1. 10 अलंकार
2. द्रुत ख़याल के स्वरों को निर्धारित रूप में लिखना। राग: भैरव भीमपलासी, मालकौंस, खमाज।
3. रूपक ताल, एक ताल, झपताल, सुल ताल, तिलवारा ताल, धमार ताल का अंकन।
4. दी गई स्वर संगतियों से रागों की पहचान।
5. निर्धारित रागों का वर्णन.
प्रश्न पत्र की संरचना (क्रियात्मक)
प्रायोगिक परीक्षा के एक बैच में 9 से अधिक विद्यार्थी नहीं होने चाहिए। संगीत (स्वर) में संगत के रूप में हारमोनियम की अनुमति है। परीक्षक सेट करेगा मौके पर ही प्रश्न पत्र. प्रैक्टिकल में प्रश्नपत्र सेट करते समय परीक्षक सैद्धांतिक रूप से पाठ्यक्रम पर विचार करना चाहिए और निम्नलिखित निर्देशों का पालन करना चाहिए।
1. निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम में से किसी एक राग का प्रदर्शन/प्रस्तुति। विद्यार्थी रागों का चयन कर सकते हैं। यह निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम से एक राग का 4 मिनट का प्रदर्शन/प्रदर्शन होगा। चयन परीक्षक का होगा. यह 4 मिनट के लिए होगा.
2. इकगुन और डुगुन लयाकरियों में निर्धारित तालों का हाथ से प्रदर्शन/प्रदर्शन। यह 4 मिनट के लिए होगा.
3. निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम में से एक ताल एवं एक राग की पहचान। यह 4 मिनट के लिए होगा.
4. तराना/टप्पा/लोकगीत/देशभक्ति गीत के संबंध में प्रदर्शन/प्रदर्शन। यह भी 4 मिनट के लिए होगा.
पाठ्यक्रम (क्रियात्मक)
1. निम्नलिखित रागों को अलाप-तान के साथ एक द्रुत ख्याल: भैरव, भीमपलासी, मालकौंस, खमाज।
2. किसी भी निर्धारित राग में छोटे अलाप और तान के साथ एक धीमा ख्याल।
3. किसी भी निर्धारित राग में एक तराना केवल सतई और अंतरा।
4. इकगुन और डुगुन लयकारी में हाथों से बोल बोलकर रूपक ताल, झपताल, सुल ताल, तिलवारा ताल, धमार ताल प्रदर्शित करने की क्षमता।
5. देशभक्ति गीत की एक रचना.
6. स्वरों के मार्ग से निर्धारित राग को पहचानने की क्षमता।
7. हारमोनियम एवं तबले की संरचना का ज्ञान।
8. 10 अलंकार.

1. 10 Alankaras
2. To write the notations of Drut Khayals in prescribed. Raags: Bhairav Bhimplasi, Malkauns, Khamaj.
3. Notation of Rupak tal, EK taal, jhaptal, Sul Taal, Tilwara tal, Dhamar tal.
4. Recognition of Raags from given Swar Sangaties.
5. Description of prescribed Raags.
STRUCTURE OF QUESTION PAPER (PRACTICAL)
There should not be more than 9 students in a batch of practical examination. Harmonium is allowed as accompaniment in music (Vocal). The examiner will set the question paper on the spot. While setting the question paper in practical, the examiner must consider the syllabus in theory and will follow the following instructions.
1. Demonstration/performance of any one Raag out of the prescribed syllabus. The students can exercise the choice of Raags. It will be for 4 minutes Demonstration/performance of one Raag from prescribed syllabus. The choice will be of examiner. It will be for 4 minutes .
2. Demonstration/performance of prescribed Taals in Ikgun and Dugun Layakaries by hand. It will be for 4 minutes .
3. Recognition of one Taal and one Raag out of the prescribed syllabus. It will be for 4 minutes .
4. Demonstration/performance regarding Tarana/Tappa/ Lok geet/Patriotic song. It will also be for 4 minutes .
SYLLABUS (PRACTICAL)
1. One Drut Khayal with Alaap- Taan the following Raags:
Bhairav, Bhimplasi, Malkauns, Khamaj.
2. One slow Khayal with short Alaaps and Taans in any of the prescribed Raags.
3. One Tarana only Sathai and Antra in any of the prescribed Raags.
4. Ability to demonstrate Rupak tal, jhaptal, Sul tal, Tilwara tal, dhamar taal with reciting bols by hands in Ikgun and Dugun layakari.
5. One Camposition of Patriotic song.
6. Ability to recognise the prescribed Raag from the passages of swaras.
7. Knowledge of the structure of Harmonium and Tabla.
8. 10 Alankaras.
