पाठ्यक्रम (सिद्धांत)
भाग- ए
1.) परिभाषाएँ:-संगीत, दुन्नी, अलंकार, आरोह, अवरोह, पकड़, सरगमगीत, जाति, अलाप, ताल।
2.) वादी स्वर, संवादी स्वर, अनुवादी स्वर, विविध स्वर, वर्जित स्वर।
3.) जीवन रेखाचित्र:-
(ए) प्रमाण: सोहन सिंह
(बी) डी: दलीप चंदर बेदी
4.)पटियाला घराना और दिल्ली घराना का ज्ञान।
5.) भारतीय संगीत वाद्ययंत्रों का वर्गीकरण किया। तुत्त वद, सुषिर वद, अवनद वद, घन वद।
6.) मेरा पसंदीदा सब्जेक्ट- संगीत।
7.) नाद, परिभाषा और प्रकार।
8.) ख़याल, ख़याल का आविष्कार और उनके अंतराल प्रकार।
9.) संगीत वाद्ययंत्र का ज्ञान: तानपुरा:-इतिहास और उनके शरीर के अंग।
भाग-बी
(i) राष्ट्र लिखने के लिए, चिथड़ों में ख़याल का वर्णन:-कलायन, अल्लाहिया बिलावल; वरिंदवाणी सारंग,
(ii) इकगुन और डुगुन लयकारी के साथ ताल, तीनताल, झप ताल और चारताल का संकेतन।

प्रश्न पत्र की संरचना
प्रायोगिक परीक्षा के एक बैच में 9 (नौ) से अधिक विद्यार्थी नहीं होने चाहिए। प्रश्न पत्र परीक्षक द्वारा मौके पर ही सेट किया जाएगा, प्रैक्टिकल में प्रश्न पत्र सेट करते समय परीक्षक को सैद्धांतिक रूप से पाठ्यक्रम पर विचार करना होगा और निम्नलिखित निर्देशों का पालन करना होगा।
1. निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम में से किसी एक राग का प्रदर्शन/प्रस्तुति। राग का चयन विद्यार्थी द्वारा किया जायेगा। यह 6 मिनट के लिए होगा.
2. निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम में से किसी एक राग का प्रदर्शन/प्रस्तुति। राग का चयन परीक्षक का होगा। यह 4 मिनट के लिए होगा.
3. एकगुन और डुगुन लयाकरियों में ‘ताल’ का हाथ से प्रदर्शन। यह 4 मिनट के लिए होगा.
4. निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम में से एक ताल एवं एक राग की पहचान। यह 2 मिनट के लिए होगा.
5. अलंकार/शबद/भजन संबंधी प्रदर्शन भी 4 मिनट का होगा।
पाठ्यक्रम (व्यावहारिक)
(1) पांच- कल्याण और बिलावल थाटों में पांच अलंकार।
(2) कलायन, अल्हैया, बिल्लावल वरिंदा वाणी सारंग रागों में छोटा ख्याल, अलाप, तान।
(3) अपने पाठ्यक्रम के किसी भी राग में अलाप और तान के साथ वड्डा ख़याल।
(4) तानपूरे की तार की ट्यूनिंग।
(5) आपके पाठ्यक्रम के किसी भी राग में; भजन, शबद, देशभक्ति गीत।
(छ) निम्नलिखित तालों को बोल और मात्राओं के साथ एकगुन और दुगुन लयकारी में हाथ से प्रदर्शित करने की क्षमता।
i) दादरा ताल
ii) तीन ताल
(iii) झप ताल
(iv) चार ताल

SYLLABUS (THEORY)
Part-A
1.) Definitions:-Sangeet, Dunni, Alankar, Aaroh, Avroh, Pakad, Sargamgeet, Jati, Alap, Taal.
2.) Vadi Swar, Samvadi Swar, Anuvadi Swar, Vivadi Swar, Varjit Swar.
3.) Life sketches:-
(a) Proof: Sohan Singh
(b) D: Dalip Chander Bedi
4.) Knowledge of Patiala Gharana and Delhi Gharana.
5.) Classified the Indian music instruments. Tutt Vad, Sushir Vad, Avnad Vad, Ghan Vad.
6.) My favourite Subjet- Music.
7.) Naad, definition and types.
8.) Khayal, invention of khayal and their give gap types.
9.) Knowledge of Music Instrument: Tanpura:- History and their body parts.
PART-B
(i) To write the nation, description of khayals in rags:-Kalayan, Allahiya Bilaval; Varindavani sarang,
(ii) Notation of Talas, Teentaal, Jhap taal and chartaal along with Ikgun, and dugun Layakaries.
PAPER – B
PRACTICAL (MUSIC VOCAL)
STRUCTURE OF QUESTION PAPER
There should not be more than 9 (nine) students in a batch of a practical examination. The question paper will set by the examiner on the spot, while setting the question paper in practical, the examiner must consider the syllabus in theory and will follow the following instructions.
1. Demonstration/performance of any one Raag out of the prescribed syllabus. The choice of the Raag will be done by the student. It will be for 6 minutes .
2. Demonstration/performance of any one Raag out of the prescribed syllabus. The choice of the Raag will be of the examiner. It will be for 4 minutes.
3. Demonstration of ‘Taals’ in Ekgun and Dugun layakaries by hand. It will be for 4 minutes.
4. Recognition of one Taal and one Raag out of the prescribed syllabus. It will be for 2 minutes.
5. Demonstration regarding Alankaar/Shabad/Bhajn It will also be for 4 minutes.
SYLLABUS (PRACTICAL)
(1) Five- Five alankars in Kalayan and Bilaval Thaats.
(2) Chotta Khayal, alap, tans in Kalayan, Allhayia,Billaval Varinda Vani Sarang raags.
(3) Vadda Khayal in any Rags of your syllabus with alap and tans.
(4) Tunning of string of tanpura.
(5) In any raag of your syllabus; Bhajan, shabad, Patriotic song.
(g) Capability to demonstrate the following taals with bols and matras by hand in ekgun and dugun layakaries.
i) Dadra taal
ii) Teen Taal
(iii) Jhap taal
(iv) Char taal
