1.(a) निम्नलिखित की परिभाषा: वर्ण, अलंकार, क्रिन्तन, ज़मज़मा, गमक
(b)समांतर तालों का तुलनात्मक अध्ययन
- चौताल-एकताल
- झपताल-सूलताल
- धमार-चौटाल
2. संगीत रत्नाकर के विशेष संदर्भ में प्राचीन हिंदुस्तानी संगीत का संक्षिप्त इतिहास।
3. ताल रूपक एवं झपताल का वर्णन।
4. निर्धारित तालों का अंकन लिखना।
5. ठेके के दिए गए भाग से ताल की पहचान।
प्रैक्टिकल पेपर एमएम:25
1. सरल विस्तार के साथ तबले पर रूपक और झपताल के ठेके बजाना।
2. ताल रूपक और झपताल में दो पेशकार, दो क़ायदे, दो तुकर और कुछ गत।
3. मुखड़े और तिहाई के साथ ताल रूपक और झपताल का ठेका बजाना।
4. हाथ की थाप से ताल रखते हुए डुगुन और चौगुन के साथ निर्धारित ताल का पाठ करना।
5. उपकरण की ट्यूनिंग का ज्ञान.

6.(a) निम्नलिखित की परिभाषा: जरब, कला, क्रिया, अंग, पेशकार और रेला
(b)विभिन्न पैटर्न वाली जातियों का वर्गीकरण।
(c)लयकारी का वर्गीकरण.
7. संगीत पारिजात और पं. के कार्य के विशेष संदर्भ में हिंदुस्तानी संगीत के मध्यकालीन और आधुनिक काल का संक्षिप्त इतिहास। वी.एन. भातखंडे।
8. ताल चौताल, सूलताल और धमार का वर्णन।
9. निर्धारित तालों का अंकन लिखना।
10. ठेके के दिए गए भाग से ताल की पहचान।

6. सूलताल और चौताल के ठेके को सरल विस्तार के साथ तबले पर बजाना।
7. ताल रूपक और झपताल में दो पेशकार, दो क़ायदे, दो तुकर और कुछ गत।
8. ताल तिलवाड़ा और धमार का ठेका बजाना। मुखड़ा और तिहाई के साथ.
9. हाथ की थाप से ताल रखते हुए डुगुन और चौगुन के साथ निर्धारित ताल का उच्चारण करें।
10. यंत्र की ट्यूनिंग का ज्ञान.

1.a. Defination of the following: Varna, Alankar, Krintan, Zamzama, Gamak
b. Comparitive Study of Smantar Taals
- Chautal-Ektal
- Jhaptal-Sooltal
- Dhamar-Chautal
2. Brief History of ancient Hindustani Music with special reference to Sangeet Ratnakar.
3. Description of Taals Rupak and Jhaptal.
4. Writing notation of prescribed Taals.
5. Recognition of Taals from given portion of the Thekas.
Practical Paper MM:25
1. Playing the Thekas of Rupak and Jhaptal on tabla with simple elaboration.
2. Two Peshkaras, two Qayadas, two Tukras and a few Gats in Taal Rupak and Jhaptal.
3. Playing the Thekas of Taal Rupak and Jhaptal with Mukhda and Tihai.
4. Recitation of the prescribed Taals with Dugun and Chaugun keeping taal with hand beats.
5. Knowledge of tuning of the instrument.

6.a. Defination of the following: Zarab, Kala, Kriya, Anga, Peshkar and Rela
b. Classification of Jatis of different patterns.
c. Classification of Layakari.
7. Brief History of medieval and modern period of Hindustani Music with special reference to Sangeet Parijat and the work of Pt. V.N. Bhatkhande.
8. Description of Taals Chautaal, Sooltaal, and Dhamar.
9. Writing notation of prescribed Taals.
10. Recognition of Taals from given portion of the Thekas.
