1. निम्नलिखित के अर्थ एवं परिभाषाएं :-
संगीत, नाद, श्रुति, स्वर, सप्तक, थाट, राग, गत, आरोह, अवरोह, स्थायी, अंतरा ।
2. विभिन्न वादन शैलियों का अध्ययन ।
(क) मसीतखानी गत
(ख) रजाखानी गत ।
3. सितार वाद्य की ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमि, अंग वर्णन तथा समस्वरण (मिलाने) की विधि । 4. पंडित विष्णु नारायण भातखण्डे की स्वरलिपि तथा ताल पद्धति का पूर्ण ज्ञान ।
5. महान शास्त्रीय संगीतकारों / वादकों का जीवन परिचय |
