कुल समय अवधि: 3 घण्टे । कुल अंक: 30
(1) निम्नलिखित का अर्थ स्पष्ट करें :- ताल, लय, खाली, ताली, मात्रा, विभाग, आवृति, पूर्वांग, उतरांग, अल्पत्व, बहुत्व, आलाप, जोड़ालाप, गत, मींड़, झाला ।
(2) चयनित वाद्ययंत्र की बनावट तथा अंगों का सचित्र वर्णन ।
(3) पंडित विष्णु नारायण भातखंडे तथा स्वामी हरिदास का जीवन-वृत्त एवं संगीत के क्षेत्र में योगदान।
(4) राग काफी तथा राग खमाज का सम्पूर्ण परिचय तथा रज़ाखानी – गत की स्वरलिपि|
(5) वाद्य वर्गीकरण का विस्तृत वर्णन ।
(6) तीनताल ताल तथा झपताल का ठेका दुगुन लयकारी तथा सम्पूर्ण ताल परिचय सहित ।

(1) Explain the meaning of the following:- Rhythm, Lay, Khali, Tali, Matra, Vibhag, Aavriti, Purvaang, Utrang, Alpatva, Bhutav, Alap, Jodalap, Gat, Man, Jhala.
(2) Pictorial description of the structure and mechanism of musical instrument.
(3) Biography of Pandit Vishnu Narayan Bhatkhande and Swami Haridas and contribution in the field of music.
(4) Complete introduction to Raga Kafi and Raga Khamaj and notation of Razakhani-Gat.
(5) Detailed description of musical classification.
(6) Theka of Teentaal taal and Jhaptaal along with Dugun Lay and Sampurn taal introduction.
