A. सिद्धांत
1. निम्नलिखित की परिभाषा:
नाद, श्रुति, राग, मेल (थाट), अनिबद्धनिबद्धगान।
2. कक्षा-11 के लिए निर्धारित रागों का विवरण।
3. तानसेन का योगदान एवं संक्षिप्त जीवन रेखा, सदारंग पं.वी.एन. भातखंडे और पं. विष्णु दिगंबर पलुस्कर.
4. ध्रुपद एवं ख्याल का संक्षिप्त इतिहास।
5. कक्षा 11 के लिए निर्धारित गीत एवं ताल का स्वरलेखन।

B. प्रैक्टिकल पेपर
1. (a) एक द्रुत, ख्याल निम्नलिखित रागों में सरल विस्तार के साथ: अल्हैया बिलावल, जौनपुरी, मालकौंस, काफ़ी, यमन।
(b) किसी भी निर्धारित राग में एक धुरुपद और एक लक्षणगीत।
(c) एक ठुमरी शैली की रचना।
(d) प्रत्येक राग में स्वरमालिका।
2. हाथ की थाप से ताल रखते हुए डुगन के साथ एकताल और चौटाला के ठेके का पाठ।
3. निर्धारित रागों में अलाप और तान के साथ आरोह, अवरोह, पाकर और सरल स्वरविस्तार गाने की क्षमता।
4. परीक्षक द्वारा प्रस्तुत स्वरों के अंशों से निर्धारित रागों को पहचानने की क्षमता।
5. संगीत में नए रुझान (बुनियादी ज्ञान)

A. Theory
1. Definition of the following:
Nada, Shruti, Raga, Mela (Thaat), AnibaddhaNibaddhagana.
2. Description of the ragas prescribed for Class- XI.
3. Contribution and short life sketch of Tansen, Sadarang Pt.V.N.
Bhatkhande and Pt. Vishnu DigamberPaluskar.
4. Brief history of Dhrupad and Khayal.
5. Writing of Notation of songs and tala prescribed for class XI.
One Practical Paper Marks: 70
B. Practical Paper
1. (a)One Drut, Khayalwith simple elaborations in the following Ragas : Alhaiya Bilawal, Jaunpuri ,Malkauns, Kafi, Yaman.
(b) One Dhurupad and one LakshanGeet in any of the prescribed Ragas.
(c) One Thumri style Composition.
(d) Swarmalika in each Raga.
2. The recitation of the Thekas of Ektala and Chautala with Dugan keeping Tal with hand beats.
3. Ability to sing Aaroha, Avaroha, Pakar and simple Svaravistar with Alap and Taan in the prescribed ragas.
4. Ability to recognise the prescribed Ragas from the passages of svaras rendered by the Examiner.
5. New trends in Music (Basic knowledge)
