Description of Dadra in hindi-
दादरा गायन की शैली ठुमरी गायन से मिलती -जुलती है । इसे मुख्य रूप से दादरा , कहरवा और दीपचंडी में गया जाता है और इसकी गति ठुमरी से तेज़ होती है । इसे पूरब अंग की ठुमरी का हल्का संस्कारण भी कहा जाता है । इसमें प्रमूख भाव श्रीनगर का होता है लेकिन इसमें ठुमरी के मुक़ाबले अधिक उन्मुक्तता होती है ।
प्राय: सभी ठुमरी , खयाल गायक दादरा भी गैट हैं परंतु ठुमरी गायक सभी लोग दादरा गायकी करते हैं ।

भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप के हिंदुस्तानी शास्त्रीय संगीत में एक मुखर शैली है । ताल तेवरा (10 मात्रा ) , झपताल में मौजूद द्रुपद रचनाओ को सादरा कहा जाता है ।
